Oil

What kind of oil do you guys use?
My soon to be ex dealer's invoice said they used Pennzoil synthetic blend SUV Motor Oil.
The color is darker than I'm used to seeing, kind of orangey amber

I use Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic with an AC-Delco filter. I change my oil between 4500-6000 miles. Oil stays pretty clean till about 5000 then it starts to show some wear.

Mobil 1 for now, but will likely switch to Royal Purple soon. It's like weed, I gotta find a good supply in this little town.

What this guy said.

I will use 0-30 though when i change it next.

AC Delco filter is different form the aftermarket options for whatever reason, so i stick with the AC Delco stuff.

Same. Mobil 1 5w-30 and a Delco filter.

Guys, don't get sucked into the Royal Purple religion. You have 2.2L Cobalts, there is no sense spending that much more money on oil.

My turbo lag is your courtesy head start.
