Official Email from SCT About 2.2L Tuning

So, since one of the companies I work for is an SCT dealer, and there was rumbling on CSS about a possible SCT tune available for the 2.2L ecotech motors, we inquired. This is what I got back.

Quote:
2005 and 2006 Cobalts have a unique processor that is unlike any other vehicle in the GM lineup. Currently there is a small market for these two years. If there is enough demand and we are able to unlock these PCM's then there would be a good possibility to tune these.
So, if you other 2.2L guys want to see something from SCT for tuning, I suggest emails.

Why not? We should be encouraging aftermarket products for our cars, and it leaves more available options to choose from. Granted I hear trifecta tuning is the best it would be good to see another company take interest in the cobalts as well. I'm down for it!

eh I think I'd rather stick with trifecta, they didn't fail me before and gave me a great tune so they got my business for life.

Vince at Trifecta hasnt gotten back to me for some time after his "vacation"...... I shot him an email..... waiting to see what he's got lined up for me. Maybe he is being shy cuz he's worried his tune fryed my 3rd cylinder or something. Whats up with the 3rd and 4th cylinders giving our 4 bangers problems anyways?

I've talked to him since he got back - but he's pretty busy, it seems. Takes him a while, sometimes, to answer my emails.
