SS Wheels and Suspenion on LT or LS

Has anyone done it? What do you need from the donor Cobalt? I want to do it. I have a good SS donor located but wish to just pull what I need and not buy the whole car.

For the suspension just buy new parts, that way you are guarenteed at least one year of life in the parts.

youd have to take all suspension components, hub, brake lines, brakes, control arms, everything. i mean if you have a donor that has everything, i guess its possible

Other than the obvious. I want to hear from those that have done it, seen it done or anybody that has knowledge about this swap. Is it worth the effort? Is it a waste of time? Struts different? Anything that can make it easier. I personally think it would be cool to have a LT or LS with the SS wheels and related components. I don't care about interior or body, just suspension. Complete waste of time, just go buy a used SS.

yeah the shocks struts and springs are different...i say go for it and while you're at it pull all the parts for a sc build

I agree with this, just go to CED and buy the new FE5 control arms, the bigger swaybar and the FE5 strut setup. Then you pretty much need the whole hub and caliper package that is left.

I honestly want to kind of do the same thing, simply because I like the rear rotors and the 5 lugs. But I kind of scrapped the idea because I didn't have a donor car and thought that I would stick my money in other areas for now on other performance features. I went with the FE5 control arms and some coilovers instead.
