Gauges on the Fritz

So sometimes when i start my balt the gauges dont work for a few seconds and the needles just kind of twitch around. i noticed about 5 months ago and its been happening more frequently. anybody else have this problem?

all guages or just certain ones? On the ones with issues, do you notice them not being accurate over a while of driving?

GM had a problem with stepper motors that control the gauge needles in a bunch of trucks and cars from 2000-2005.... As far as I know they were just replaced with new units, they didn't build a new part or anything...

If it's the factory gauges in the dash then it's normal. All cars do it. It's just the gauges resetting themselves.
