HELP FAST! How Much Money Minimum Should I Take for My Balt?

Okay soo I was looking on craigslist last and some guy is selling his Black 05 SC for 5,000 cause he has to leave the state on the 15th, so I am gonna try to sell my 2.4 on craigslist! But my question is how much do you think I I should put it up for and or How much should I take minimum for it?

For those of you who know I bought my car at an auction with a salvaged title for 3500 with 49,500 miles and it originally looked like this:

Now it looks like this:

I Bought new:
INNER and OUTER FENDERS
FRONT BUMPER
GRILL
HEADLIGHTS
18" GUN METAL SS WHEELS
BRAND NEW 215/35-18 TIRES
PASSENGER SIDE DOOR
SIDE SKIRTS (CURRENTLY SHIPPING)
and FRONT AND REAR LIPS (CURRENTLY SHIPPING)

THE COBALT SC FOR 5,000:

Dude, unless you need to get rid of it I would keep it. You are not really going to get what you put into it with a salvage title... That's just one little opinion though.

I would just keep working on the car you have, not worth buying the other one!

How many miles are on your balt now? Seems kind of sketchy that he's selling his SS so cheap...

Well this is my take on it.. I bought the car for 3500 and probably put a 1200 outta my pocket into it already and I still have to put about another 1500 into for paint and body work, soo if I can sell my car for at least 4k then buy that balt for 5k I would still be saving my self some money and I would be upgrading! Do you think I could get 4 for my car?

Just work on the car you have. Many people will not touch salvage title cars, myself included, and many insurance companies either will charge high rates or outright deny coverage due to the MANY problems with salvage title vehicles.
And by the time you sell yours that one may already be sold.

that might be a good option, i do think u could get 4k for your car just because of the engine set up and not needing too much more work. but, is it worth the 500 dollars or w.e and take the risk of this other SS not being right. there probably is a reason y its so cheap

well the only reason it marked salvaged is because it went through a insurance auction.. And me and the guy with the SC are talking and I am the only one interested so far..

Yeah thats what I am hoping for at least 4! I have it on craigslist for 5k OBO and I already had like 5 people contact me, but only one that offered me the right price but they still arent sure yet they need to talk it over first.. Well Im gonna check out the car today so we will see if it is cheap for a reason..

Understand, but to me a salvage title car is kinda like a Mustang, Camaro, Firebird or any other sports car with a trailer hitch...who knows what was actually done with the vehicle.
