one question....im goint to make an oil change next week but uuhhmm should I use the Lucas Oil Additive Synthetic for my cobalt...?????? what u guys think?????

i use Valvoline Maxlife Full Synthetic 5w-30

I wouldnt waste the money on that stuff. Lucas has good quality stuff, but if Valvoline offers a 300K mile warranty if you use their synthetic exclusively it must be good enough to use without additives.

300k mile warranty is a sells gimmick...they'll find a way to void that faster than a dealer could.

I agree that the 300,000 mile warranty is a gimmick, but still no reason to use additives if you don't need them. My wife's tranny on her Buick recently started to slip a little. I put some Lucus in it and it's like new again. Lucus has great products, but I would only get them if you NEED them, and not just because...
