Getting a Cobalt, Need Some Advice

Hey guys, im new to the forums so I hope im posting this in the appropriate place. Im about to buy a cobalt, and its between 2, a 2007 Cobalt SS/NA or a 2007 Cobalt LT. I like the look on the SS/NA better and they have around the same milelage, around 5-8k difference. So the question is, does the extra 25 hp on the Cobalt SS make a difference from that of the Lt? Or is that increase not very noticeable? The price difference is about 1k dollars which I am willing to pay if the SS/NA truly is noticeably better performance wise and not just because it has better looks. What do you guys think??

Ss/na. It comes with things you'll easily spend $1000 on upgrading to anyways
