How Does Your Balt Do in Snow?

Just wondering because I have never driven my cobalt in snow, how is it with regular all season tires? Because I have the pirelli p6 tires and I just wanted to know what to expect

If you are automatic, you should be ok, but be cautious those stock tires suck in snow... I would say get snow tires or different all seasons... I learned my lesson last year, riding on Dunlop snow tires this year...

Stocks suck in snow? Great. I don't have to worry about snow until Christmas break at least...

Yeah, stock Pirelli's suck in the white stuff! I can't say much though, this will be my second year on them! Just didn't have the spendage to get snow tires this year.

Y balt is an auto sedan with no ABS. It sucks in snow. The tires r hoooorrrible. I definetly wanna get hardcore snow tires on my steelies and get some rims n put spring-fall performance wet/dry tires.
I had an intrepid last year and that thing was awesome in snow. It didn't have abs either but it stopped prety quick even when the brakes locked up. Then the engine blew in feb and that's when I got my Balt.
When the brakes lock up, the back end whips around prety easily and it feels like it slides forever kuz it's so light. It's fun... Untill you actually need to stop fast.

LOLOL. I love when this topic comes up.

It's simple. Throw some good snow tires on it, and you'll be fine. Manual or auto...it doesn't matter. You just gotta know how to drive.
