Has Anybody Blown a Headgasket on Their 2.2?

Has anybody blown a headgasket in their cobalt with the 2.2 and how? Also what model year? thanks

I've blown a head gasket on my corsica and cavalier 2.2's. It's probably gonna happen sooner or later but the most common way imo is if you floor your pedal before the car is properly warmed up and/or maintained.

I'd imagine you'd probably find more answers with the J and N body guys... they've had the L61 longer.

That being said, the L61 is rather durable, so unless it overheats heavily, it should run for a good while.
