Where is the Fuel Filter Located on a 2008 Cobalt

I have looked behind the passanger wheel and I do not see my fule filter can any one help me locate it

it's right up against the frame of the car towards the front end of the gas tank. easy to find, but if you have an SS, i believe it's in the gas tank itself... which sucks

Yep, or California emissions vehicles, which are in the tank also(or at least according to my local dealer).
