Cool Well Guys, I Ordered a Trifecta Tune.

I just placed an order for a Trifecta tune on My '06 Cobalt LS(2.2). I just wanna get a little more power, but a couple more MPG's. I know, mine at least, run rich from the factory. That nice film of black exhaust soot on my bumper confirms it. Had it when I bought it new-ish (18,000 miles).

Hopefully, my $250 wasn't in vain....

Do you have a full exhaust and intake? You will only get more power with a tune if you have a free flowing exhaust

When do you plan on getting a header and a new downpipe? That's where your most restriction is...

ok start your mess talking engines, what is a trifecta tune? I just joined and am trying to pick up on your lingo. In my lingo a tune is fresh oil, spark plugs & wires, brakes, and radiator flush. (and a tranny fluid change if needed).

TUNING is changing the parameters of the ECU to compensate for new mods you have installed on your car. TRIFECTA is a company owned by a gentleman named Vince that tunes our cars pretty regularly. most of us go through him with tuning. TUNE UP is what you're thinking of.
