To answer the question though.. there's lots of ways to tune. Most of the tuners who tune GM vehicles will use HPTuners as an interface. There's the guy from Trifecta, Vince, who will mail you the flash cable or their little handheld thingy to upload your tune. And a few others out there...
As for your car, you can do all the basic bolt ons and not have to worry about a tune. When you start messing around with stuff beyond just swapping out a part - THEN you will need a tune.
I'm still running the stock dp and I race my car! Planning on getting one but its not going to make a huge difference if you don't get one right away. Get the rest and them when you have the t'd im and tb put the dp in as well cuz you have to tune anyways.
