Am I Crazy?

Am I crazy or do the 2009 cobalts/g5's pull harder than say my 2005?

I swear my friends 09 4 dr with all options pulls harder than my 2005 coupe with no options. My g/f says I'm crazy so I figured I'd ask you nice people. Both 2.2L engines and we both have gmpp intakes and gmpp catbacks.

2009 Ford Escape Limited - 3.0L, 6 speed auto, 4x4, 25/33 city/hwy imp mpg.
2017 F150 XLT-XTR - 5.0L, 4x4, 3.55's, E-locker, xtr chrome package, fx4 off-road package.
20/25 imp mpg

other things factor in, like wear. A new motor with the same power could be making all its power it says it does where the older has fallen off some. Transmissions can be another factor and not all motors are the same even if they are suppose to be. Theres factory slugs and freaks that actually are quicker then they are rated to be.

yea, not the same if you drive one and ride in the other. My house mates car feels like it pulls real nice and seemed like it would give the SS a run but in a race I destroy him.
