L61 Valve Cover

I've noticed that there are 2 types of valve cover for the L61 engine. Are the 2 the same other than the ridges on the top of the older one? I found one for pretty cheap and wanna pick it up, but I've never been too sure if the 2 are the same other than that.

valve covers themselves are the same i believe. but the 05's and maybe 06's have all the spark plug wires integrated into one coil pack that distributes them that bolts in the top of the valve cover.

So would the individual coil packs be able to mount onto one of the 06 valve covers that take the one big coil pack? That's my main concern...

That's the big difference, 07 and up the treaded holes for the individual coil packs are all to the right of the sparkplug holes and all in line, also has an extra bolt on the end. 05-06 the first 2 on the left are off-set.
