Best bet/ cheapest way is to get an alarm with remote start option and add the remote start module

I just installed mine thanks to the help of a few members on here.

Bypass I used is the Idatalink ADS-AL-CA with the GM2 firmware. You can also get a xpress bypass kit, their website tells you which model you need.

on the Idatalink.com website it lets you put all the info in and it will tell you exacly what you need. Mine was an 05LS sedan.

iDatalink - Search

heres your choices for ADS modules.

as for wiring the starter yourself. its fairly easy.

If you use a remote starter with a datacable (mine was prostart, here in canada) you just have to connect maybe 10 wires in total from the remote starter and the bypass. (a few you have to connect together then to the car, ex... accessory from remote starter ties to bypass and then to the accessory wire in steering wheel.....but it really isnt too bad.)

P.S. make sure you get the bypass programmed for your car, with the correct firmware(GM2), and the remote starter youre using.

Youre more then welcome to PM me with any other questions.
