Antenna

Having trouble removing my antenna .. 2007 lt cobalt... Couldn't find a DIY on it

You have to hold the bracket underneith or it will break off, probably best way to do it is to get some locking pliers to hold the round part of the bottom and another to hold the base of the antenna then break out the elbow grease. It's on there really good and you'll probably scratch up the old one but it does come off eventually.

i really messed up my antena. it seems like i unscrewed it too much and my cousin thought it would be a good idea to cut off the black thing around the bottom of the antena. Now my radio does not work at all

I broke mine installing a shorty antenna. It's ridiculous how hard they are to get off.

Still haven't fixed it, but I have a smart phone so I just connect it via Bluetooth to my headunit and listen to Pandora. It's been broke for almost a year, I keep saying I'm going to fix it, but you know how that goes lol!
