When Should I Replace Spark Plugs?

06 LT.
im at 44k miles and i herd you should replace spark plugs around 30 - 60k miles and i was gonna do it at my next oil change which is at 50k so would it be a good idea to swap my spark plugs? i had to change the battery before the battery was from the factory so i was thinking the plugs are from factory also so i was just wondering if this will help with anything, and what type would you guys recommend? oh and i drive a lot for school 3 days a week 1 hour to and from school so 6 hours in 3 days. just trying to help mpg as much as possible.

If they're the ACDelco Iridiums, they'll last for a good long time. How much exactly I'm not sure, but they should be good even past 60k miles. If you need to change them, I recommend you get those.

There's a difference between recommended time and preventative maintenance time. Ive changed my plugs probably 8 times in the past 30k miles. Provided my engine is a little different, but better safe than sorry

Unless there's an issue, I do them every 40K.
