How Can I Be Quick with a 4 Speed Automatic?

A friend of mine has a mazda 3 5 speed, and completely destroyed me on a 1/4 mile strip. Ik i caint expect my stock 2010 cobalt lt to go from 0-60 in 6 seconds, but there has got to be a technique to driving an automatic.

Most drag cars use a 2 speed power glide automatic... Not very street able, but no loss of time due to shifting

The techinique is putting it in drive and letting it do work.

That's the point of an automatic.

Want to go faster? Boost it or spray it. Simple.
