I have never had problems fix themselves... If they go away for awhile, the cause might have temporarily gone away, IE moisture on an electrical connection... But in my experience, those problems come back. I went away on a training exercise recently, and didn't start my car for over 30 days. Came back, and it started kind of hard, and kicked the CEL. Pulled the negative on the battery for awhile, and cleared the CEL. Waiting for the cause of that one to show again... Probably have to throw some money at it soon...

Only think I would say is the SAI was causing a code for poor flow, it's unfiltered and had some snow get in it. A warm day and it was fixed.
