Q About Air/fuel Gauge on LAP

I know there is a thread of how to and I know where it all goes, but the trouble I have ran across is that my reading on my gauge is 10.0 and sticks to rich, no matter what rpm i am in and throttle response.

It has the following connections: 1 wire to signal (t-tapped to circuit wire 1355, purple/white), 1 wire to ground (chassis mounted with a screw), 1 wire to Ignition switch wire red/white (constant power), and 1 wire to accessory power (Ignition switch brown wire). Any help?

It stays pegged at 10.0? That definitely is not right, it should be bouncing around going from rich under throttle to lean when off (--- when DFCO is active). Whatever it's wired to is receiving a constant signal.

Did you calibrate it? Used? I'd lean towards a bad sensor.

You can't calibrate it. PCM controlled. Wideband. Lap uses wideband. I tapped into low signal wire. May just go with an autometer. Narrow band is ancient in today's cars lol.

Really are you sure LAP has a stock wideband? I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Which would explain the constant reading.

Your right. It has a heater circuit. Signal, power, and ground. I tapped into the wrong wire. Thanks alldata for incorrect wire diag lol. Its gray
