2005 Cobalt

I have a 2005 Chevy Cobalt LS. When I got home from work I turned the engine off as normal but instead of the instrument panel going blank as it usually does, everything went blank except the number 7 appeared on the instrument panel for several seconds, then disappeared. The vehcle was running great but is this a code that something is wrong or what does the number 7 stand for? Thanks

Just a glitch, I would't worry about it.

I feel like I've seen mine do that once or twice. As long as it functions normally otherwise, it's not cause for concern.

Thanks Coby7 and Parthros. The car seems to be running fine so maybe that's all it is. Thanks again for the quick response.
