Reversing into Parking Spot

How many people here back into a parking spot when possible so they always drive ahead coming out of the parking location? Backing out of a parking spot accounts for 80% of parking lot incidents.

Only when I know there will be a lot of traffic when I leave (like at concerts). That said, any opportunity I have to pull through a spot, I take.

Only place I actually back into is at home, any other time I just either pull thru or I'm parking out back at work where there's never any kind of traffic or anything anyways

How come I've never seen this poll? I back park religiously, whether it be at home, in a lot, or anywhere for that matter. I prefer not being partially blind when pulling out onto a public road, but that's just me.

The idea of it (according to the Smith system), is that things are always changing. So when you back In first it's easier to see to just pull out. Say you pull straight in and two giant trucks park on each side then it's even hard to back out then normal and a lot harder to see what's coming when your back is facing the main point of concern

But in your situation it's not really a problem lol I'd just rather back into a place I know is empty theb into traffic
