Bcm Module

Is it alright to replace a defective bcm module with a used unit from a reputable auto wreck dealer?

You will have to marry it to the rest of the CPUed modules and enable the BCM options you need. This can be done with a GM TechII. Also try to get one with similar options as your car and close the the model year/month of production.
