Another sad cobalt day.

So im going do the road and at the green light coming up there are cars coming to a stop so I swtch lanes and look up and theres a benz stopped with no brake lights. So I lock up the brakes and downshift........ Couldnt stopin time so in the back of the benz I go. There was a couple girls crossing the busy street(ritchie hwy.) At night on a green light on a street speed limit of 45 mph. There was no where to go or nothing I could do. I was doing the speed limit and if the benz would of been on the brakes instead of just sitting there I might of seen them in time.anyway heres the pics og the damage. not sure how much yet but I cant drirve it cause the rati. and rati. fan are now 1 and make one hell of a noise.

oh the first one is always the worst, some advice DO NOT talk to anyone but your insurance, they can be ****'s and second find yourself a good, lets say workable body shop cause in alot of cases aftermarket is waaay cheaper than factory. for instance price a factory steel or hell an alloy wheel then go on tirerack.com and look around. but, above all don't take any guff from these swine.

sorry edit was made beer and jager induced me to use fowl language.

EXACTLY... choose your body shop that will "work with you" and place the correct part number on the order for the grills, fascia ect. Since you don't have fogs, go to GM or e-bay and order the GM OEM accessory fog kit. (You can't in all fairness expect them to upgrade your fogs if you didn't have them before.) But you can have them install them when it goes back together! As said above.. Discuss this matter with no one except YOUR insurance agent. The other insurance agent may call and ask for a statement. POLITELY refer them to your agent for any information they may need. Your agent may advise you to give them a brief statement, the same as you told them. If it's just a bent fender type crash, that may be OK, but if there is ANY personal injury, DO NOT. Contact your attorney prior to ANY statements to them in a personal injury case. Protect yourself. A "mis-statement" by you now, WILL come back to haunt you possibly 3 years from now in civil court. An no, not everone is a crook, but be wary and look out for your interests too...
