funny $hit...

well on my way home form my gf house her sisters husbands brother pulls up next to me and flags me into a gas station and i pull in we start bs'ing about are mods when i remember he has know idea WTF i am talking about.... i tell him i want to upgrade to 60LB injectors and a 2.8" pulley and probably a menthol kit to keep intake temps lower... and he gives me a puzzled look... anyway for shits and giggles i ask him to pop his hood and tell me a little bit about his car ( don't know the year but its a sunfire with the 2.2 in it) he pops the hood and the first thing i think is OMFG THIS IS GOLD I GOT A TELL THE GUYS ON YOUR COBALT!!! the first thing i see is his custom CAI if you could call it that he had cut the air intake right before the manifold and put a 90 degree piece of silicone hose with a maybe 1' piece of pipe on to it and at least he put a k&n filter on but here is the cherry on top. i ask so where the hell did you put the MAF seeing that it was not bolted in any where on that 1' piece. then i see it the most horable and unholy thing. wires running into the silicone hose. he had dropped the MAF into the silicone hose and then put the metal pipe into the hose LMFAO. then he wanted to look under my hood so i pop it his buddy looks in and no shit asks me where the supercharger is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!! i was trying so hard not to laugh my ass off. oh and he told me he wanted to try to get 800 HP out of his engine before he did any internal work i just said good luck with that(in my head i said you FU**ING idiot (** only because i don't wanna get banned)) and left for home laughing my ass off as i replayed what just happened

Good lord, I used to have a friend just like that. Said he was going to pay his way through college racing his 98 Maxima. I think he was the same guy who framed his copy of the Fast and Furious....

Oh and please zolo next time break some of that up...it killed my eyes to read lol.

My turbo lag is your courtesy head start.
