throttle under hood?

Is there an accessible throttle under the hood? I can't find one.

Firebalt, you would be correct.

The Chevrolet Cobalt emplys a new and sophisticated, Drive-By-Wire system, in which the throttle valve is controlled by the computer, and not the actual foot of the driver. This means that throttle response is precise(bull), and clean(also, bull)

Taken straight form the manual

Yea that drive-by-wire bs is great man. I can be sitting in neutral and tap the gas and let off real fast, and theres at least a full second delay before the rpms shoot up! Definitely beats the immediate response time of direct linkage.

My turbo lag is your courtesy head start.

yeah, you said it! I am gonna see what it would take to change my throttle body so i could run the linkage. I dont quite trust electronics, lol

Yea I'm pretty thankful I picked up a project car that I don't have to worry about the electronics. Carburetors FTW!
