Messed up my Windshield

Like a moron I wiped down my windshield with a dry paper towel since there were streaks and now I have small little marks on the windshield, scratches of some sort.
Is there anyway to fix this? I don't see how.

Are you sure they're little scratches? paper towels shouldn't do that to your windshield or windows.

I'm not sure how you could fix that though.... Weird. Sorry man.

They're actually more like pitted, with small indents. Not like a scratch across the windshield. Its really odd. Maybe they were there before and I didnt notice?

that sounds more like debris (sand, salt) hitting the windshield rather than a paper towel incident, but I don't know. Rain-x might fill them in a bit, but don't take my word for it.

I'll ask my dealer when I get the oil changed. Maybe they were there before but I just didnt notice?
Toothpaste? Not sure that would work, these are like little pitted holes.
