Engine Noise?

Hey there,
I just recently noticed that sometimes when i accelerate there is a noise almost ike a humming noise I am assuming from the engine. Anyone know what this is from?
It's not all the time either and if I have to radio on you can't hear it so it isn't that loud.
I have an 08 ls 2door coupe, automatic
Thanks in advance

well im thinking its normal because I have the same thing, sounds some what like a turbo under wot. but that is probably ur filter for the stock air intake or the air being pushed into the Intake manifold. Mine is a lot louder though thanks to AEM!
