Driver's Side Headlamp Wiring Problem

My headlamp will not stay on. If I put some electrical tape in and set it just right it will turn on and stay on till I hit a decent bump in the road. I've replaced the bulb, so it's not that. I'm pretty sure it 's a loose connection in the wiring harness somewhere. I was told I can cut out the connector and wire it all together. Is there a guide for this? I think I have all the parts to rewire it if it's just connecting the right 4 wires to the right OTHER 4 wires.

Anyone else have this issue?

Did you check the fuse in the fuse box?
