My magnaflow system came with a different
hanger for the rear. Might be what you need.
Local parts store or exhaust shop should have
some hangers depending on where you live.

My tip is real close to the bumper, but have
never had any melting issues for two years.

Take it to an exhaust shop, have them alter the hangers to make it fit right. If you had to force it into place, then you know it's not the right fit, and will need to be modified

You could try getting some heat wrap and put on their too. I know autozone, checker, etc... sell a wrap for headers, don't see any reason you can't put some heat wrap between your exhaust and your bumper. It would be a temporary fix until you could get under there or take it in and get the hangers modified.
