Intake fitments.

My car:
2008 coupe sport

On ebay there is plenty of 05-07 CAI's but very little 08's and up. Is there a difference between the CAI's mentioned? Or do I really need an 08.

All intakes for the 2.2 & 2.4 will fit all years of cobalt. also 2.2 and 2.4 intakes are both the same

Is the fitment the same through-out, like 05-07 parts all fit 08? Other than a few interior and body specifics? Looking through the ebay and trying to find 08 parts amongst all the 05-07 parts is a headache.

As far as intakes, yes all years are the same. there are very few differences between years

You have a Sport? So it's a 2.4l correct? You will be able to use the same intake systems as the 05-07's...nothing really changed between them (nothing that matters for fitment anyway). And as stated above 2.2 and 2.4 intakes interchange for the most part (you probably don't want the 2.2 K&N, but you can use it...it just has an extra thing on there for the 2.2's with SAI).

AEM, Fujita, Injen, K&N, GMPP are the options I can think of. Then there are the ebay intakes. I don't know how well I trust those. I know there is one that the 2.2l guys used from ebay and it actually was a pretty good intake for about $100. It was from some company called JDM "something or other"...don't remember the full name.
