2.4 t/b

Has anyone done the 2.4 T/B swap? Does it make a difference?

Yes, it does make a difference...if you aren't tuned for it you can't drive your car...

There are some posts where people have used the 2.4 TB and have a trifecta tune...

so the trifecta tune will properly tune the 2.4L TB so you can drive your car?

Yeah Vince at Trifecta can tune for the T/B. I spoke with him today about it. I am currently waiting for my T/B to be delivered. What I really meant to ask was how much horsepower to expect to gain. Or is it more of a throttle response gain?

I would suspect that it will reduce the torque in the low RPM range (less throttle response somewhere in the lower RPM range) and give you some more ponies at the top of the RPM range.

also...JET performance MAF sensor will work with the 2.4 tb. but, if you want more power out of it...get a tune. the maf just allows it to function without a computer tune
