The MRZ UDP 1st gen caused an oil leak but they re-designed it and I believe that the 2nd gen will not cause a leak.

If you email/contact MRZ in some fashion, I believe they will help you out with that (get you a replacement...not sure if you have to pay anything or not though).

I have the MRZ Underdrive Pulley and I used the same Bolt and torqued it to 100 ft. lbs. and I have raced it at the track, it's been over 6 months now and no issues so check the torque on the pulley next time of course assuming you have the same "Pulley"...Hope this helped with any doubts.

I "heard" the MRZ UDP causes your Cobalt to grow a bigger exhaust...care to elaborate on what you "heard"?

How about a little more info? The MRZ UDP on my 07 SS/NA hasn't been a problem...that would be three years now...

The first produced MRZ pulleys were made out of aluminum and did not have a steel sleeve causing the seal to "eat" into the aluminum creating a leak. If you have a MRZ pulley that is leaking check that you have a steel sleeve on it -- if you don't, contact MRZ -- they were replacing them for free.
