GM Air Intake or K&N Air Intake

Ok id hate to post another post about this but i just cant find any info what so ever. I found two different air intakes

K&N Typhoon Air Intake Kit - 05-10 Cobalt 69-4515TS - Under the Hood

or this

GM Performance Air Intake - 05-09 Cobalt, G5 - Under the Hood

Which one would you guys pick cause since i saw the GM one im not too sure now.

I went with the GM intake because of the way that it seals up against the hood and don't suck in the hot engine bay air.

I would go with K&N. Had mine on for a year and I love it. It's louder than my exhaust lol.

Did you notice any performance gain with the GM one? Like people say with the K&N one

I have the Gm, and you wont notice the performance gain. The only thing I actually noticed was the sound but I love mine.

the gain will be close to the same between the two, but it's only like 6HP @ 4k+ RPMs, so...not much. but it will help your fuel economy a touch as well as having a slightly cooler looking engine bay
