Magnaflow Exhust

So i was looking at the magnaflow catback system, and i noticed the one for the 2.2 is only 2.25inch and the 2.4 one is 2.5 inch tubing. Would the version for the 2.4 bolt up to a 2.2?

unless you're going FI (which you'd want a 3" anyway), I wouldn't think the .25" would make a difference.

as far as the bolt up, not sure.

2.4 exhaust will bolt up

the 2.2 exhaust size is 1" 7/8 NOT 2" 1/4

The T/C won't bolt right up tho. I believe it has a 3 bolt flange IIRC.

Dont need a 3 inch anyway for these cars, I talked to my exhaust guy and even for my V8 truck he said a 3inch would make the computer act hokey and the engine not run right. Every computer controlled vehicle needs proper back pressure to run right. That is why you see many newer cars with stripped exhaust smoking, the engines got hurt by not having proper backpressure.
