Exhaust for 2.2L

I have been looking into exhaust systems a little bit and found the Tsudo N1 exhaust which sounds great IMO and the price is unbeatable! It's either that or a magnaflow muffler, would I gain a lot more by purchasing the Tsudo N1 exhaust?

you gain a respectable amount, if you got a tune that gain would be more

a muffler won't do much for you besides sound, the best way to gain any sort of power from a 2.2 is doing a 2.4 intake manifold,header,cat-back,SRI,and new downpipe.A cat-back helps out,but you will be restricted still.

my 2.2 has a catback, it was prolly faster before i put it on there..

I have the Tsudo...
The hp gain is only noticable at 2500RPM and its not that much but the sound is great
I'm glad I invested in my Tsudo =)

I would not think there would be real gains until you swap your header and DP too. otherwise you have no real change in back pressure on your engine.

I agree if you want noticeable gains get a full exhaust.

correct, yer not gunna gain any HUGE numbers until u replace yer header, downpipe, cat, and THEN do a catback system...

then ull feel a nice increase

any advice on the size of piping? i heard you'll lose back pressure (or something like that) if you go too big
