Would it keep what noise? IMHO i consider a 3A racing muffler a fart can, and im guilty of having one on my old car, straight piped to it. Which is why i went with a tsudo catback for the balt and i recommend that for everyone. But my 3A racing muffler was loud.

In regards to horsepower, putting an aftermarket header and muffler on will increase it because they are less restrictive than the stock parts and will increase the flow of the exhaust.

just to make sure. You are going to have a new resonator put in, a new muffler put on, and possibly all new piping for the custom cat back? how much is that going to run you do you think? bc i got a tsudo N1 online shipped for just under 200$ and its bolt on, no cutting and diy.

Yeah, I'm definitely happy with my investment in the Tsudo. It's easy to install, has a good sound, and looks nice as well. I would say go for that rather than just a muffler...

eh i like the tsudo but i think it sounds like a fart can... i had the 3a muffler and to me it sounded tone but i hated the look. I now have a magnaflow 2.5inch catback and it sounds amazing! its tone and quiet, so no constant humm on the highway or anything. and you can actually feel it a little unlike the 3a weld on haha

^^clicky^^-KKK K24 TDI turbo (small but no boost lag, and also great for the engine size, lots of power), 42lb injectors, jdm sport intercooler, and plenty of fun treats!!! click the photo to see the garage ask away!!!
