Header Help.

I believe on of the bolt to my headers is loose because every time i rev or drive the car i hear a weird noise. dose anyone know the procedures on how to tighten the bolts and the spec?

don't use loc-tite that shit will harden so much from the heat theyll never come out. use anti-sieze. the torque specs are Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head Nut


12 Nm


106 lb in

Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head Stud


10 Nm


89 lb in

FOOT INCHES NOT FOOT LBS. they do not get tightened much at all. if you don't have a torque wrench, make sure they are LIGHTLY TIGHTENED. don't even feel for resistance, the head is aluminum and will strip very easily.

that should be inch pounds, not "foot inches"

andd ff_drift_lol is absolutely right. huge difference. be careful
