K Series Swap

I do realize the electrical nightmare associated with Cobalts and all the computers and what not, but I thought it would be very interesting to swap a honda k-series motor (k20, k24) into a cobalt.

WHY would you put a Honda motor in a GM? That's like automotive blasphemy

Does not play well with others.

(10:36:43 AM) Yield2No1: Then you tell me that a cobalt TC doesnt have an optional rear diff

It would be interesting.
I would much rather see a LS series swap.
But a K20 can make a shit ton of power even if you stay NA.
One plus is that you can put a Vtec sticker on since it will be a motor with Vtec.

But the K20 does have vtec.
It's only rice if you put the sticker on and don't have it.

lol stickers are rice! Plus... sleeper ftw. but import in a domestic is still blasphemy!! I don't care if your putting a lambo motor in a cobalt... although that would be cool.... LOL

The perfect sleeper would be a LS3 Swap.

We were/are HEAVILY debating doing the LS4? The one that came in the monte carlos and the ss impalas, with my car. I can't justify doing it right now as I don't have the cash and my current motor runs like a top. When it goes though... it's on lol

That would be a perfect sleeper. Getting the power to the pavement could be a issue. But still would be fun.
I know some have done it with the old Jbody's
