Cold Air Intake

My question is based on the fact I will be getting a header, I have a k&n filter for my air intake already.

I am wondering if it is really worth getting the $100+ cold air intake with it or if the filter I have with my stock air intake would work.

Yes...the drop-in helps a little if you don't like messing with the factory work but there are true gains to be had in switching to a CAI/SRI...especially with top end gains and the sheer sound of it after 2500 rpm's and intake draw

It's really easy and and something that has no bad effects on the car.
It will give better response and a deeper sound.
