Engine Work For A N00b?

Hey guys, have a 2008 LS 2.2 Ecotec Engine, and was wondering what sort of mods I could be looking at.
Don't tell me to get an SS because that's not an option.
Am on a tight budget.

So what are some cheap options I have here?
Mainly going for sounds/performance.
(Saying sounds - Sounds really ricey.) > .<

I mean there are options that will get you a slight increase in hp not too much for an N/A. Cold air intake, header, downpipe, exhaust, among many others. Check around the forum. There's a lot of information from people asking the same questions. Let us know about specifics.

I have spent a good amount of money, probably around the same as the car is worth to be honest. I get around 205hp and have mad turning skills, but thats all.

Here is a link for some "cheap" mods. https://www.yourcobalt.com/forums/che...han-100-a.html

Always remember you can only choose two: fast, reliable, cheap
