No, it's a pretty easy job, and when i get out after my first enlistment, there is $$$$$$$$$ to be made on the outside with it.

im trying to get up a list of some good mods for my ls i have found sub frame supports and strut tower support and lowering springs but what mods other than a cold air should i do im trying to get my freind from bad mouthing my car cuz its a "economy car " he drives a volvo 940

That all depends on want you want. Do you want to stay N/A or go the FI route, what you want your car to do (dragster, autox, boulevard cruiser, etc) and how much you're willing to spend. As for me, I'm going the bolt-on route. That means a CAI, 2.4 TB, 2.4 IM, header, downpipe, and cat-back. It's 'cheap and cheerful' kind of mods like that that won't put down more than 200hp but won't break the bank either, and I'm not looking for a salt flats racer so it's fine with me. Basically, know what you want before you spend your first dime.

his Volvo is modded its the turbo model pushing 200+ hp but im wanting a daily that i can have fun with when a little ricer pulls up next to me and i have to stay na tell my warranty is up so i have 3 years tell then

If staying N/A is your decision, then there isn't much more you can do than what was already mentioned. From what I've been told, you would need a tune if you're going to play around with the intake. (My Injen CAI likes to throw a P0171) Also, keep in mind that going full bolt-on will cost you low end torque in return for higher RPM horsepower. Still, once you climb up that tach, you should be able to pull on most ricers and regular cars.
