Exhaust Size Question

I have a 2010 cobalt 2lt(I believe it is) it has the old SS stock kit on it as well as the pioneer system and leather seats, etc. the exhaust tip looks bigger then usual "pea shooter" exhausts. And I'm curious to know the piping diameter. I just purchased a catback exhaust off eBay with the piping size 2.25 and I want to make sure that my piping is at most 2 inches. Any help please?

Pretty positive.
Search for exhaust threads.

Different size pipe will give you different sounds, along with the muffler.

If you want a different sound, cut behind the muffler and weld a new one on, and weld the tip back on too.

I was hoping just to get a catback with as little work as possible haha

But if it's the same size, I feel like I just waste money lol

Stock catbacks are mild steel I believe. Stainless is an upgrade. Stock 2.2 is a 1.75 diameter. 2.4 and lsj are 2.25 and lnf is 3
