Catback Size Adapting. HELP

I just bought a catback for my 2010 cobalt. It's a 2.25 with a 3" tip. I believe my stock exhaust is 2" fon what I've been told and hoping. But my question is, will my new catback line up to the old exhaust? Or do I have to get an adaptor of some sort? I'm doing this tomorrow and would like to know before I strt taking things apart lol. Thanks in advance guys

I hooked a tsudo 2.5" right up to my old cobalt exhaust and no adapters needed, so I highly doubt you'd need anything on the 2.4's setup.

Alright awesome! Thanks! Also, I have two pipes with my catback. One pipe has the resonator on the end and the other pipe is the one with the muffler. Which side of the resonator pipe hooks up to the cat?(the resonator end or just the regular pipe end?

Test fit before you bolt it all, it should only go one way
