Realistically..

Alright, so I just gave both CED and ZZP a good slice of my paycheck, and I want to know if the gains I can expect are worth it. On their site, they claim the midlength header and cat'd downpipe are good from anywhere between 10-25hp. Over at CED, the GMPP cat-back is said to give me a solid 12hp, for a combined total of 22-37hp. Combine that with my Injen CAI, what kind of power/torque do you think I'll actually put down to the road? (I've got a 2006 L61 rated at 145hp stock) Thank you for satisfying my curiosity.

You can't believe a sales pitch. I'd say you'll be lucky to get 8whp. But man it will sound like 30. (Realistically)realisticly is not a word and a bad thread title.

Yes, lucky to get 8 indeed. CAI doesn't really do anything without a tune.

heh, I've come to lean on my autocorrect like a crutch, I guess that's what happens when it's kicked out from under me huh? lol

As for the horsepower gains, I wasn't expecting a whole lot anyways. 30+hp sounded too good to be true, and that's just what it happens to be.
