Anyone Turbocharged Their Cobalt?

Have you seen an increase on mpg under "normal" driving conditions? Or did it stay or decrease? Might be getting a turbo. No intercooler and running under 5psi. (Don't bash on me) lol. Just lookin to get some opinions

Op, don't even attempt to turbo your car. You obviously don't know what you're getting into

You're really playing with fire (no pun intended) by not having an intercooler. Just spend the extra $400.

I thought if you ran under 5, you don't need an intercooler

Of course the extra power is nice for when I would need it. But I didn't know if there's any mpg Gains when driven normally

I wouldnt say there are any gains. Especially considering you will need fuel system upgrade and a tune. Might be the same under normal driving. Any throttle will change that quick. About the intercooler, good luck finding a system for $400 that's not universal. You don't have to run an ic but intake temps will be stupid high and will kill any performance you were trying to gain

-3" intake
-siemens #60s
-aem uego wideband afr
-HP custom tune

I would think any perceived gain would be offset by the cost of spending the extra .30/gal for premium fuel.
