Any particular reason why you'd think you need a new clutch?

Hello, I'm having a little bit of car trouble I think it maybe my clutch. My clutch grabs and it shudders as It engages from 2nd gear through 4th gear never experienced anything like it (first manual). Another problem is my clutch pedal travels to floor with little or no resistance, when I first got my car there was resistance. And my last problem is my clutch pedal feel soft when depressed. I'm at 63K miles I got the car used with 35K I should still be under warranty?

well I can tell ya that when my clutch was toast, I'd be in like.. 4th, at 2500RPM say, then I'd step on it and the RPMS would go up but the speed wouldn't. Probably something else like the Throw out bearing or the master cyl/slave cylinders need a look at.

Clutch is a wear part and wouldn't be covered. Clutch pedal could be your master cylinder or slave cylinder. To replace the slave, you have to take the tranny out anyways so you might as well replace it then. To best find out, rev to 5k and dump the clutch in 1st and if rpms shoot up, your clutch is done. If it grabs, drive it til it dies

thanks guys I appreciate so much. @StevoElsupremo in my case i maintain speed when i shift to 4th gear. RPMS don't drop that low like yours did. @BankerBalt me not knowing anything about parts and stuff, around how much do you think everything is? If go to the dealer I know it would be double that
