Engine Dress Up? 2.2 Cobalt

I have a lot of plans for my 2.2 cobalt and I want to make the engine look nice. Anyone know where to find things for an engine dress up?

What specifically are you looking for or is that part of the question.? The first thing is to get rid of all the plastic covers and get some sort of intake. Then make sure it's clean and polish/paint the valve cover. They do sell metal covers for the fuse box too if you want to spend the money.

2009 Cobalt LS XFE (F23) Victory Red
YYZ V.3 Springs, Koni shocks/struts, Powell XXX rear swaybar, Brembo brake swap, 5 lug conversion, Ion Redline wheels, SS/SC interior swap including power conversion, K&N intake, Trifecta tune, Ark Performance N-II catback, Ark shorty antenna, SS body kit, Powell F23 rotated mount, LNF rear mount, Powell CABs
Soon to come- EFR 6758 turbo kit and make Retro Headlights.

for the most part just make it not look so basic i guess is what i want
maybe a new valve cover, anything i can really do to dress it up. if it costs some money i don't really need to worry about it i can do that.

A short ram intake (SRI) is about the coolest looking piece of equipment you could have under your hood imo, and it'll sound good too. Won't do much performance wise without a tune however.

Not necessarily true I put a K&N intake on my car and I can definitely feel the difference especially in the cold, although I don't know the numbers I got from it

paint and a good clean can go a long ways in an engine bay. KISS- keep it simple will go a long way as well

I've got a CAI and the biggest difference from stock that I've noticed (besides the sound) is decreased low end torque. Pulls better at higher RPM, but most of my driving is sub 3k anyways.

Even before the install I had poor sub 4k performance anyways

Never noticed a difference in the low end, although did notice a bit of an increase in the high end. I later got a tune for the intake and exhaust to realise the full potential of the mods.
