Speed limiters

So how many of you have had your speed limiters taken off, and what did you have to do to make it happen?

Yup. Mines set at 318mph in 4wd. You need a tune

I had mine taken off even though I never have went fast enough to hit the factory one. It's taken off in a tune, that's the only way.

Not the only way, you can also disable it with a Tech 2. You just have to enter a Z rated tire.

You don't say. Wish I had known about that a year ago while taking mechanics. Although, I did use a Tech 2 to win a bet once.

I just looked up the tech 2 scanner $380 plus $150 shipping, it better make a Cobalt perform like a damn Camaro ss

For that kind of money get HP Tuners or go to a shop that has one. I turned on cruise with one a friend had access to.

can explain to me how to do this exactly I got a friend who has a tech 2 but he's not so bright.

Yea do not bother buying a tech 2 unless you plan on breaking a lot of weird things hpt is the way to go
