Engine Swap Help

I wasn't really sure where to put this, so sorry in advance. But I have an 06 Cobalt LS 5sp manual and was wondering, can I drop an engine from an SS in it? Are they're certain spefications on th engine, like a certain year or anything I would need to known to pursue this. And alternate routes with similar outcomes? Thanks!

If youre asking, you dont know what youre doing and definitely should not attempt it. It would be much easier and cheaper to build your engine up to handle the boost better.

Yup. You'd be surprised to know just what the L61 can handle boost wise. Figure you can just about match a stock LNF in power without touching the internals. A supercharger would be simpler, and cheaper to meet that goal. But if you want more, you're going to have to crack open the engine and turbo.
